Last updated: July 2026

The Azgari Foundation (“we,” “our,” or “the Foundation”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity (EIN 41-2896092) based in Austin, Texas. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit azgari.org or interact with our programs.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide voluntarily. When you submit an application, contact form, or donation, we collect the information you enter — such as your name, email address, phone number, and any details about your situation that you choose to share.

Program application data. Youth who apply to our programs through partner referrals may provide additional information including age, current living situation, and educational background. This information is used solely to assess eligibility and deliver program services.

Automatically collected data. When you visit our website, we automatically receive standard web log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. We use Google Analytics 4 to analyze website traffic in aggregate. Google Analytics collects data subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information we collect to: operate and improve our programs and website; communicate with applicants, donors, and partners; process donations; meet legal and regulatory obligations; and report aggregate, non-identifying data to funders as required by grant agreements. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Our website and operations use the following third-party services that may process your data:

4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

The Azgari Foundation serves young people ages 14–25, including minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under age 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Youth ages 13–17 are served exclusively through referrals from partner organizations (schools, foster-care agencies, juvenile justice programs), and data collected in that context is used solely to deliver program services. Parents or guardians with questions about their child’s information may contact us at info@azgari.org.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, meet legal obligations, and support our nonprofit reporting requirements. Applicant and program participant records are typically retained for seven years in accordance with nonprofit best practices. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. Texas residents may have additional rights under applicable state law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@azgari.org.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to support analytics (Google Analytics 4) and website functionality. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.
