Apply, or refer a young person, for free career training

Azgari Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Young adults ages 16 to 25 can apply directly, and case managers or partner agencies can refer someone. You do not need a caseworker or agency to apply. Referred candidates receive priority, and direct applicants are considered for open cohort seats. One form covers all five programs. A Foundation team member reviews every submission within 2 business days.

Caseworkers & partner agencies

Foster care agencies, juvenile justice programs, PAL coordinators, CASA volunteers, and youth workforce staff can refer eligible young adults using the form below. Young adults do not need an agency to apply; anyone who is not yet connected to a support agency can apply directly, and we can connect them with a partner organization for wraparound support.

In the form, select "I am referring someone" and include the youth's name, age, and contact information. We follow up directly with the candidate within 2 business days.

What happens after you apply

Here is what to expect.

Step 01

Review

Our team reviews the application or referral and identifies the program that fits the young adult's goals and background.

Step 02

Outreach

A Foundation team member contacts the applicant (and the referring agency, if there is one) within 2 business days to discuss eligibility and next steps.

Step 03

Enrollment

We confirm the program, cohort start date, and any equipment assistance needed. Where a partner agency is involved, we coordinate with them under a written agreement.

Step 04

Training begins

16 to 24 weeks depending on the program, fully online, free. No job, income, or business result is guaranteed. Any client work a participant takes on is paid to the participant directly; the Foundation collects no fees.
