Free online job training for ages 16 to 25. No tuition. No loans.

If you've been in foster care or the juvenile justice system, or you're out of school and out of work right now, we'll teach you a skill employers pay for: IT help desk, bookkeeping, digital marketing, web development, or office administration. You don't need a caseworker to apply, and the form takes about 10 minutes.

Is this for you?

You're 16 to 25. If you're 16 or 17, a parent, guardian, or caseworker has to sign off before you start.
You've been in foster care or the juvenile justice system. No history like that? You can still apply if you're not in school and not working right now.
You can give it about 15 to 20 hours a week. Evenings and weekends count. Lots of people in the program also work or go to school.
You have internet access. No computer? Say so in the form. Help with equipment is available.

What happens after you apply

Within two business days. We talk about what you want to do and which program fits. There's nothing to buy.

You get set up

We confirm your program and start date and work out a computer if you need one. Want a support agency in your corner too? We can connect you.

Step 3

You train with a mentor

16 to 24 weeks of hands-on projects. When you finish, we introduce you to employers hiring for your skill, and your mentor stays with you into your first months on the job.

The five programs

Each one is taught online by people who do the work for a living, and you practice on projects that look like the real job. Can't decide? Pick "Not sure yet" in the form and we'll help you choose.

IT help desk

Fix computer, account, and software problems for the people at a company. About 20 weeks.

Bookkeeping

Keep a business's money records accurate: invoices, payments, and monthly reports. About 24 weeks.

Digital marketing

Run social media, ads, and content for small businesses, using AI tools. About 24 weeks. You build a public portfolio as you go.

Web developer

Build and maintain small-business websites with AI-assisted tools. You finish with sites you can show.

Administrative assistant

Handle calendars, inboxes, scheduling, and records for an office.

Where things stand

The program is new. Our first group is in training now, and we're building our first network of employers in Houston, Austin, and Dallas–Fort Worth. We'll introduce you to employers hiring for what you learned, but we can't promise you a job, a wage, or a specific result. That depends on your effort, the job market, and your situation.

Questions people ask before applying

Is it really free?

Yes. No tuition, no fees, no loans, and nothing to pay back. Azgari Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit paid for by grants and donations.

Do I need a caseworker or an agency?

No. Apply yourself with the form above. If you'd like an agency's support too, we can connect you with one.

I already have a job. Can I still do this?

Yes. It's online, about 15 to 20 hours a week, and most people fit it around work, school, or taking care of family.

Will employers find out about my history?

Not from us unless you say it's okay. We don't share your foster care or justice history with an employer without your permission.

I don't have a computer.

Tell us in the form. Help getting equipment is part of the program for people who need it.

Do I have to live in Texas?

You can train from anywhere in the U.S. Employer introductions are in Houston, Austin, and Dallas–Fort Worth for now, so if you live somewhere else, tell us and we'll be upfront about what we can offer.
