For caseworkers, PAL coordinators, CASA volunteers, probation officers, and youth workforce staff

Refer a young person to free online job training. We follow up in two business days.

Azgari Foundation trains people ages 16 to 25 who are leaving foster care, coming out of juvenile justice, or out of school and work, for entry-level jobs in IT help desk, bookkeeping, digital marketing, web development, and office administration. It's tuition-free, online, and 16 to 24 weeks long. The referral takes about five minutes.

Refer a young person

Before you send it, check that the young person knows about the referral and has agreed to it. Share only what they're okay with us knowing; we don't need case files. Questions? Email fosteryouthinitiative@azgari.org or call +1 904-595-2502.

Fields marked * are required. One form covers all five programs. We use what you send only to review this application or referral, and we never sell it. See our privacy policy.

What the referral gets them

Skills they can show an employer

Volunteer educators who work in the field teach with the tools the field uses. Participants finish with a portfolio, project work, or progress toward a certification.

A mentor the whole way

Each participant has a Foundation mentor through training, the job search, and the first months on the job.

Employer introductions

We're building our first employer network in Houston, Austin, and Dallas–Fort Worth for paid apprenticeships, internships, and entry-level jobs. The program is new; our first group is in training now.

You stay in the loop

We keep the referring worker informed at each step. Agencies that refer regularly can sign a written partnership agreement.

Results depend on the participant's effort, the job market, and their circumstances. The Foundation does not guarantee any job placement, wage, or outcome.

Questions agencies ask

Is there a cost or a contract?

No cost, and no contract for an individual referral. Agencies that refer regularly can sign a written partnership agreement covering data sharing and coordination.

Can this count toward program hours or a transition plan?

That's your program's call. We can provide enrollment confirmation, attendance, and completion records on request.

What if the young person doesn't have a computer?

Note it in the form. Equipment help is available for participants who need it.

Does the Foundation use education or training funds?

No. Programs are tuition-free. We don't bill youth, agencies, or anyone else for training. The Foundation is funded by grants and donations.

How is youth information handled?

We use referral information only to review the referral and run the program, and we never sell it. We don't share a participant's foster care or justice history with employers without the participant's permission. Minors need guardian or caseworker consent to enroll. See the privacy policy.

Have someone in mind?

Five minutes now, and we'll reach out to them within two business days.
